Changya Chen is a Principal Investigator at the Institute of Hematology & Blood Diseases Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College. He earned his Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of Iowa in 2017. He completed his postdoctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania / Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia from 2018 to January 2024. Prior to that, he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences from Peking University in 2011. His research focuses on leveraging single-cell multi-omics and computational biology to elucidate the mechanisms of pathogenesis and drug resistance in hematological disorders.
